Biographie

Originaire de Toulon, Julie Goussot est diplômée de chant du CNSM de Lyon dans la classe de Brian Parsons. Le Cercle Richard Wagner Lyon lui attribue une bourse pour se rendre à Bayreuth pour le Wagner Festspiele 2018. Elle se perfectionne ensuite à la Hochschule für Musik und Theater de Munich dans la classe d’Andreas Schmidt.

 

La saison 2019-2020, elle intègre l’Opéra Studio de l’Opéra National du Rhin. Elle y chante entre autres la Seconde Nymphe dansRusalka de Dvořák, Vierte Blumenmädchen dans Parsifal, Gretel dans Hänsel und Gretel de Humperdinck, le rôle-titre de Friederike de Lehàr, le rôle-titre de Madame Chrysanthème de Messager, et Clorinda dans la nouvelle production de Cenerentolina.

 

Elle remporte le prix du Concerto Theresia et le 1er Nachwuchspreis au Concours International de Cesti et retourne à Innsbruck pour le Young Singers Project Barockoper Jung, dans le rôle d’Axinia de Boris Godounov au festival Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik 2021.

 

Elle est lauréate du Premier Prix Opéra, le Premier Prix Mélodie et le Prix du Public au Concours international de chant de Marmande 2021.

 

Elle forme un duo de musique de chambre avec le pianiste Rodolphe Lospied avec qui elle participe au projet Opéra Déconfiné pendant le premier confinement, visant à revaloriser du répertoire tombé dans l’oubli.

 

En intégrant la troupe d’Opera Fuoco, elle chante Luise dans Die Stumme Serenade de Korngold, Romilda dans Xerxes de Händel, Suzanna dans Le Nozze di Figaro, Cintia dans Il Pittor Parigino de Cimarosa et Ilia dans Idomeneo de Mozart.

 

Tout récemment, Julie Goussot est Mimi dans La Bohème avec Opera Fuoco, Zunschlüpfer dans Les Oiseaux à l’Opéra National du Rhin, Guadalena, Manuelita dans La Périchole à l’Opéra-Comique dans la mise en scène de Valérie Lesort, Fiordiligi dans Cosi fan tutte à l’Opéra de Clermont-Ferrand et en tournée avec Opéra éclaté, Silvia dans L’Isolata disabilata de Haydn avec l’Orchestre Theresia à Saintes, la Première Dame dans Die Zauberflöte à l’Opéra National du Rhin, La Deuxième Nymphe dans Rusalka à l’Opéra national de Bordeaux, La Première Dame dans Die Zauberflöte avec Orchester Nord à Clermont-Ferrand, La voix du Faucon et le Gardien des portes du temple dans La Femme sans ombres de Strauss au Théâtre du Capitole de Toulouse,  le rôle-titre de Madame Butterfly aux Nuits lyriques de Marmande, la cantate Ino de Telemann sous la direction de M. Gester.

 

Parmi ses projets, Cupidon dans Orphée aux enfers au Capitole de Toulouse, Fiordiligi dans Cosi fan Tutte avec Opéra éclaté, Rosamund de Schubert à l’Opéra de Montpellier, un récital à l’Opéra d’Avignon et des concerts Hasse avec l’Orchestre Arte dei Suonatori à Poznan…

Born in Toulon (France), Julie Goussot is graduated from the Conservatory of Lyon (France), where she studied with Brian Parsons. In 2018, she got a scholarship from the Richard Wagner Circle of Lyon to attend the Wagner Festspiele in Bayreuth. From there, she attends the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich (Germany) with Andreas Schmidt.

 

In 2019-2020, she is member of the Opera Studio of the Opera National du Rhin (Strasbourg, France). She sings there the Second Nymph in Rusalka from Dvořák, Vierte Blumenmädchen in Parsifal, Gretel in Hänsel und Gretel von Humperdinck, the title role in Friederike von Lehàr, the title-role in Madame Chrysanthème from Messager and Clorinda in the new production of Cenerentolina.

 

She wins several competitions: the Concerto Theresia Competition, the first Nachwuchspreis at the Cesti International Competition (Innsbruck, Austria) and turns back to Innsbruck for the Young Singers Project Barockoper Jung, performing the role of Axinia in Boris Godounov at the festival Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik 2021. In August 2021 in Marmande (France) International Competition, the wins 3 different prizes: the first price for Opera, the first price for Melody and the price of the audience.

 

She sings chamber music with the pianist Rodolphe Lospied, and they join the project “Opera Déconfiné” during the first covid lockdown, aiming to bring forgotten repertoire to revival.

 

Joining the Opera Fuoco Opera Company, she sings Luise in Die Stumme Serenade from Korngold, Romilda in Händel’s Xerxes, Suzanna in LeNozze di Figaro, Cintia in Il Pittor Parigino from Cimarosa and Ilia in Mozart’s Idomeneo.
